Breathing Architecture

“Breathing Architecture” aims to create a “breathing skin” that is breathable, insulating and anti-vibration, achieved through natural ventilation by forming micropores in and around the building. Our proposal for the project aims to restore a sound symbiotic relationship with nature and extends its meaning to a building that can disintegrate with minimal environmental impact.

Inwang Guard Post Forest Retreat

The Inwang Guard Post Forest Retreat explored the possibility of architecture that breathes nature by creating a breathing roof with a porous grating surface.

Ecological Matrix; Breathing Net

With “Ecological Matrix; Breathing Net,” a facility for the outdoor stage in Seoul Forest, we envisioned a porous structure with the impression of a breathing architecture. The new structures have the potential to transform into diverse urban architecture.
